Get to know the Marketing Team

Updated: Jun 22, 2022

Get to know the creatives and faces behind our amazing brand. You can check out the first half of our team from the Commercial department and Operation Breeding department if you have not.

Our marketing team plays a vital role in promoting the business and mission of Insect Feed Technologies. The team’s day-to-day includes engaging our prospective customers, investors, and our community across offline channels and our social media platforms. If you have not followed us yet, do so!

Let us first introduce you to Corliss, our content lead.

Hey there, I’m Corliss!

Q: What is the most interesting or impactful project that you have worked on and why?

Corliss: Over here at Insect Feed Technologies, everyone is constantly working on multiple projects at the same time. The one particularly interesting project that is upcoming would be a campaign where we feature 7 prominent individuals in the agriculture space in Singapore. This is going to be exciting as many pillars of content can be done in just this campaign and to be able to interact with these 7 personalities, and get more insights into the space would be something new for me to learn.

Other than the marketing team, I'm also on the commercial team. A cross-departmental role is exciting for me because I get to work on a lot of exciting upcoming projects and see all of them coming together. With the commercial team being a new department, it's also fun to see lots of new faces!

Q: What are your personal or professional goals for the future?

Corliss: My personal goal is to do something meaningful yet financially rewarding and to be able to create something that I can call my own.

Q: If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?

Corliss: I would want to be an expert in learning stuff more than anything else. Doing stuff is easy, you just need to learn how to do it. As you get better at learning, you'll have a far easier time mastering a variety of things.

Hi, I’m Sheri!

Q: What is the most interesting or impactful project that you have worked on and why?

Sheri: It is hard to choose between the two projects that I am currently working on!

The first project will always be a work-in-progress. It is creating systems and structures for the organisation’s communications and media relations practices from the ground up. This included designing the notion dashboards, distilling helpful resources, and seeking out best practices in the industry.

Another impactful project is the revamping and the creation of new brands under Insect Feed Technologies. This involved strategising the roadmap of the different brands, designing the brand guidelines, and bringing their personalities to life!

Q: What are your personal or professional goals for the future?

Sheri: I would like to create systemic, positive impact wherever I go. I am grateful that being in the sustainability sector has allowed me to always be part of a bigger picture towards that vision.

Q: If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?

Sheri: I would want to be amazing at creating art.

Hey, I’m Leony!

Q: What is the most interesting or impactful project that you have worked on in IFT and why?

Leony: Building the marketing team, and setting structures up in place, and still ongoing. It's time to supercharge Insect Feed Technologies with a kick-ass marketing team.

Q: What are your personal or professional goals for the future?

Leony: To bring a positive impact on the world and to create a positive and high-performing team.

Q: If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?

Leony: A Master Chef.

Hello, my name is Faith!

Q: What is the most interesting or impactful project that you have worked on and why?

Faith: One impactful project would be working on the content of the posters for the Insect Conference in Canada with Hongyang, Marcus, and Sean. While the intensity of revisions Hongyang and I had to go through felt languishing at times, it morphed into a meaningful learning experience for me as I learnt what it meant to take a strategic approach to copywriting.

Q: What are your personal or professional goals for the future?

Faith: In terms of momentum, I want to ensure that whatever I do is fostered and sustained by my faith, love of learning, and service to the nation. In terms of direction, I recognise that much of what I have been blessed with here in Singapore is due to the works of the previous generations. Thus, I aspire to build on their works by building our capacity for sustainable development.

Q: If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?

Faith: I would like to be an expert in all things related to development, no matter the definition attached to it.
